Genotyping by Sequencing

Overview

Genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) is a novel technology which is based on NGS to discover and analyze new variant information from the genome using Genome complexity reduction. GBS which uses restriction enzymes to cut genome and construct reduced representation DNA library, is cost-effective and is suitable for research on individual variant for large sample as well as for the development of a large number of molecular markers.
