Overview

Epigenome is the field of study which involve research on genes whose expression is regulated by methylation of DNA without alteration in DNA sequence and histone modification. Understanding the mechanism of these epigenome may help establish the foundations for diagnosis method and development of new drug for the cure of various diseases including cancer.

AMeDIP (Methylated DNA immunoprecipitation)
Immunoprecipitation using 5-methylcytosine (5mC) specific antibody to selectively sequence methylated DNA
BMBD (Methyl-CpG Binding domain protein)
Methyl-CpG-binding domain (MBD) to selectively collect and sequence methyl_CpG
