Overview

ChIP-seq is an emerging technique in the field of gene regulation and Epigenomics research these days and combines chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) with high-throughput DNA sequencing to identify the binding sites of DNA-associated proteins.

ChIP-seq is an efficient technology for analyzing various interactions between DNA and regulatory proteins by mapping and sequencing of genome-wide binding sites of the protein of interest.
